My3D RoadViz

Introduction

RoadViz is a visualization and conversion tool created by My3D to produce real-time 3D models from raw engineering data. In the past, My3D has built high-quality 3D road models for our customers. Now, in response to customer-driven requirements, we offer a powerful tool suite to you, allowing you to build the same high quality models using RoadViz.

RoadViz generates road models using optimized geometry such as multiple LODs for improved performance. Placement of periodic and unique features such as light posts, signs, and hyperlinks is fully supported. (Service-related) In addition to automatic viewpoints set for each road, users can add custom viewpoints and flightpath lists.

Delivery of Software

Both software and licenses are delivered via the Internet. The RoadViz 1.0 distribution is a Windows Installer Package (Installer is inside Zip file). Software Requirements/Recommendations

Microsoft Windows (we recommend Windows XP or Windows 2000 Professional)
For building object models (signage, etc), we recommend either MultiGen Creator 2.5 or 3D Studio Viz.
For creating new texture images, we recommend Adobe Photoshop.
