a free tool to view GIS data stored in ESRI Shapefile format and export geometry to VRML and GeoVMRL.
ShapeViz, developed by My3D LLC, provides an easy mechanism for viewing GIS
data stored in ESRI Shapefile format and export geometry to VRML and GeoVMRL.
Users can share the resultant VRML data on
the web using any Internet browser with a VRML plugin. We recommend
Parallel Graphics Cortona Plugin.
The data produced by ShapeViz can also be imported into a number of 3D modeling tools.
