Company History

Founded in 1997, My3D provides customers with expertise in modeling and simulation, specializing in design and integration of visual simulation capabilities in both commercial and government applications. The company's staff uses a combination of programming and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) tools to answer diverse customer needs.

The company maintains close relationships with major hardware and software vendors in the visual simulation community, and offers expertise in terrain modeling, instrumentation modeling, terrain and geometry data conversion, and GUI development on various platforms. The company utilized the latest development and visual simulation tools on Microsoft Windows, Linux, and other platforms.

Our staff offers expertise in interactive graphics-intensive simulation applications. We provide services including 3D modeling and web development. We also have a staff of C/C++, OpenGL, and GUI developers to handle application-specific development. We use a variety of high-end software packages that dramatically increase productivity in both 2D and 3D modeling.

My3D has supported projects involving various Army and Navy Organizations, and offered consulting services to software companies involved in visual simulation.

Related Work

My3D has extensive experience with terrain database creation, CAD modeling, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and visual simulation application development. My3D also has written data conversion software for numerous 3D geometry and terrain formats including VRML, DXF, OpenFlight, Designer's Workbench DWB format, Compact Terrain Database (CTDB) versions 5 and 7, and S1000. My3D has also provided web-development for commercial customers.

Our interactive simulation customers have included the Army Topographic Engineering Center (TEC), Army Night Vision Labs (NVL), NASA Goddard, Naval Research Labs (NRL), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). My3D has also supported software companies such as Centric Software, Inc. (formerly Coryphaeus) and Advanced Visual Systems (AVS) with custom training, modeling services, and customer application development.
